Welcome to the Olympic Kayak Club…the place for all paddlers. We are a salty band of paddling misfits from all walks of life. Our members are young and old, from beginners to seasoned veterans and everywhere in between. We are a diverse group with one common interest…The love of paddling and the outdoors we do it in! Our club consists of members from throughout the Puget Sound and the Kitsap Peninsula area. We are preparing for an exciting year in 2011. The Puget Sound Challenge (PSC) was great fun in 2010 with three new kayaks raffled off during the Challenge from Port Townsend to Allyn in the South Sound. We expect the 2011 Puget Sound Challenge-Island Series-to be even better with shorter paddles, fewer weekends and some planned overnight paddle camping!

Herb Kai is the winner of the second in the series of three boats to be given away. Herbs name was drawn and he is the proud new owner of a Hurricane Tracer. It's a nice one. We'll have to get a picture of you and that new boat. Herb,...enjoy.
The first of three drawings and Gay wins boat #1..The Eddyline Fathom
Congrats to Gay Fawcett!!! She is the winner of the first of three boats to be raffled off this year. The Olympic Kayak Club sends a special thanks out to Eddyline for working with us on this and helping us to make this raffle possible as well as The Seattle Police Foundation for helping us with the paddle. Gay, we love ya and have fun with that new boat. For those that didn't win, there are still two boats left so this thing isn't over by a long shot.
